Portobello Mushroom Pizza
Ingredients:
Portobello Mushrooms
Favorite marinara sauce
Cheddar or Mozzarella Cheese
Parmesan Cheese
Any kind of yummy toppings that strike your fancy... pepperoni, sausage, veggies
Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 350 degrees.
Wash those beautiful mushrooms, pat dry, and cut off any extra stem on them.
Flip those beauties upside down and spoon on your marinara.
I like mine extra saucie, but add however much makes ya happy!
Sprinkle on that cheese...
I ran out of mozzarella, so I used a marble cheddar that I had, then added the parmesan on top of that.
And anything that it's the fridge to top that baby.... I had some salami, but was thinking of how fabulous this would have been with black olives, green peppers and some red onion.
But top with whatever you like is just fine.
Put in the oven and bake for around 15-20 minutes. Look for the mushrooms to be soft, but not mushy.
Serve with a salad, and you have yourself one amazing meal!
